  東京都港区議会議員『とよ島くにひろ』という僧侶が率いる異色派バンド『沙門』 彼らの生みだす、古来より日本人が愛してきた旋律とロックの融合は、かつてない仏教ソングを生み出している。 仏教を全ての人に分かりやすく伝えることを目的として作られたこのサウンドは、老若男女問わず愛される音楽として、 仏教伝導の新しい形を提示している。CDご希望の方は、沙門ホームページからご注文可能です。 『shamon』is an unique rock ‘n’ roll band of monks who are supposed to spread the teachings of Buddha. They create unprecedented Buddhism songs ever – a fusion of the melodies, having been loved by the Japanese since the ancient times, and of those of rock ‘n’ roll. Their purpose of forming the band is to create the sounds, which is meant to help the people easily understand the Buddhism. Their sounds, loved by people regardless of age and sex, present a new form of Buddhist missionary.
