  Russian folk-rock band Zhivitsa Zhivitsa is the unity of authentic Russian song culture and avant-garde rock music. The philosophy of the music is based on traditions embodied in bright, experimental musical forms, and live modern sounding. Zhivitsa is a Russian rock band. We perform in the native language only, because we speak this language and express ourselves using it. As musicians we are interested in ethnic musical and poetic art and in opportunity to present it in a world cultural field. We are passionate to show all the beauty and melody of the native language to the whole world. Full and rich tone of the instruments, participating in formation of the sound of Zhivitsa, emphasizes a bright and original female vocal. Power of the imagery, created earlier by the Russian culture, is still immense, and Zhivitsa acts as its conductor. Zhivitsa is music for creative and thinking people. It is folk music in original interpretation.

  I am producing electronic music by experimenting with sounds which result gradually in whole tracks. My proceeding is characterized by an intuitive manner and the ambition to search for something new or different. But interpretation, expression and contents also matter, although their proportion varies. I like to connect different dimensions of expression for defining and multiplying the content of my tracks. Therefore I look forward to creating some elaborate videos. Still, I want to keep the freedom of the listeners to get their own associations, so that I regard my work beyond the music production as an additional offer to receivers and a contribution to a sophisticated music being meant not only as a product, but as a work of art.
